For a truly leisurely walk, the Irwin River Nature Trail is just perfect, you can spot swans, pelicans and other wildlife. Access from Church Street.
Visit Russ Cottage, built in the late 1860's: a typical yeoman's cottage of the time.
For more history, take the Heritage Trail. This 1.6km walk features 28 heritage-listed buildings including the Royal Steam Flour Mill.
For more culture, a visit to the Old Police Station, now the Irwin District Museum, is a must-see!
Visit the Silverdale Olive Orchard & Processing Family where you can sample olives and olive oils.
Go to the Fisherman's lookout-obelisk in Denison to get a panoramic view of the harbour and surrounds.
